Don & Annette Elliot of Mattice Lake Outfitters in Armstrong Station, Ontario are offering 5 fly-in outpost camps for sale on Vick Lake, Troutfly Lake, Mojikit Lake and Hurst Lake (2 camps). Additional camps on other lakes could be included or acquired at a later date as well.
All of these lakes are very remote, located in the wilderness north of Armstrong and accessible by seaplane only. These lakes offer spectacular walleye and northern pike fishing as well as great moose hunting.
These outpost camps are situated on Land Use Permits issued by the Ontario of Natural Resources, for the purpose of operating a commercial outpost camp. All camps are licenced for groups of 8 to 10.
The fishing season starts the 3rd Saturday in May and is generally over by mid September when the moose season opens. All camps are located in Wildlife Management Units (WMU) 16C and 17. Residents can easily obtain tags in these WMU’s in the annual draw and non-residents can acquire tags from the camp operator.
